Tutorial Tuesday: Scribble Cookies

This is for all you moms and grand-moms out there!

About a month or so ago I had the pleasure of taking care of my cousins little boy Brady for a couple days. Meet Brady. He is going to help me with the tutorial this week.

He is such a little love muffin! -Sorry about the lack of shirt...we were baking and apparently little boys don't bake with their shirts on. He is the most adorable little guy. We had lots of fun hangin' and playin' that week. One of the things we did was make scribble cookies! Ever made them? If not, they are super fun! Here's how!

First, collect a bunch of those old crayons you have hanging around your house. You know, the dull broken ones that no one wants to color with. Then, peel off all the paper.

Second, place them in a metal muffin tin. (or any shaped tin would be fun) But, remember to spray the tins with cooking spray before putting the crayons in.

Third, place tins in the oven set at 275 degrees for 5-8 minutes. Keep an eye on the crayons because they melt very fast. Once they melt completely take them out. To speed up the hardening of the wax carefully stick then tin in the freezer for a few minutes, but not long or else your scribble cookies will crack.

Once the scribble cookies are cool, they are ready to color with! Your little ones will love how they make such fun colors.

This project is great for days off of school, rainy days or even party favors!

Happy baking!
