Hi! I'm Jen and so glad your here! A little about me... I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister and child of God. I love waffles, in fact I have them every morning. Crafts and planning parties are some of my favorite things. I love to bake and I am in love with every holiday and always looking for an excuse to celebrate something.

My husband Ryan and I's story began when we met in 2007, married in 2009 and got a pup, welcomed our first little one in 2011 and completed our family with our second in 2013. I love looking back at the journey we have traveled together and have an excitement for what's to come. I am a stay at home mama to our two sweet littles,  learning as I go. 4 Months after having our first little one, God blessed us with another pregnancy and 9 very short months later our son was born, January 2013. I keep me very busy and I love it.

This blog was created a few years ago as a creative outlet for myself. It has since become more family centered to document this wild journey of ours. During our ultrasound with our second little one where we were finding out the gender of our baby, we had the same sweet technician that shared with us our daughters gender the year prior. Her name was Sandra. To my surprise, in her sweet accent, she shared we were having a boy. She said "now you have your salt and pepper"!
